nevins
If it was abandoned by the mod, years ago it should be noted in housing documents due to it being a hollow below public living iirc, im searching a few places now for info. If it was a hush hush type thing then it may take me a while
The Raven
I think i might buy a metal dec and make a sweep of said area. Nev has seen the line and agrees there is something there

Homer
I pulled your address details from the admincp and have spent a while googling for info, but there doesn't seem to be anything obvious. Also the overhead map shots don't really show any potential groundworks. Hope Nevins can turn something up!

Homer
Here's the one just a little up the road from you, it's apparently in an old chalk mine, which was converted to a bunker during WW2 by the Canadian forces: QuA3E1CtKD4 Also: http://www.medwaylines.com/sarrebattlehq.htm
tony tt
Hey Raven i work on behalf of edf its possible i may be able to pull some utility drawings of your surrounding area it may show signs of networks underground that you don't know of. The only thing i can think of meantime is to try get as many old photos (if any) of your land and try compare any changes in the landscape. What depth is a metal detector effective to? pm me your address details mate if you like and ill see what i can do next week as far as ug drawings are concerned. nevins
There are loads 100s of miles of tunnels networking your area. There are also rumours of underground ammo dumps all linked in the area by these tunnels. You may find that there are links to the manston networks aswell
Aero-M
What depth is a metal detector effective to? Some of the very deep ones will do 6 mtrs 20 foot. When treasure hunting most stuff is found near the surface so Most detectors don't go that deep.

There must be a tunnel from the old airport to the bunker complex.
