Mafia 2 game release xbox

I wanna buy mafia 2 it comes out tomorrow (27th), If I went to the 24hour asda near me after 12oclock tonight will it be for sale?

Yup, I bought GTA 4 at Asda the night it was out, went on sale at midnight.

 

It was very busy but I guess Mafia 2 isn't going to be so big.

Ah, that's a bugger. Maybe they aren't expecting enough people to warrant selling it at midnight.

 

With GTA 4 there didn't seem to be many staff on hand and the ones that were there were getting hassled as to when we could buy it.

 

Also there were quite a few dodgy people there jumping in the queue and threatening people to let them go in front.

Sorry to say it, but I am disapointed with this game Strong story line, but it's incredibly linear. You get the play the plot and that it, there's nothing else really to do. On the plus side the voice acting and music is some of the best I've seen in a period game.

 

Needs a pretty powerful PC to run it at any decent framerate too, can't get over 22fps average on mine. Not a problem for Xbox folks of course

You still get to free roam thou dont you? Ive read reviews and they all seem to say the same but im in it for the storyline.

 

I played the first one and I loved it, Have you played the first one? Is this similar gameplay to it?

It's a bit different to the first one, much more story led. The free roam is still there, it's just there's nothing really do to apart from go through the story unless you want to drive around the city. I'm on chapter 8 so far.

 

Can't fault the story line so far, it's very well done, the voice acting and the visuals is what makes it, not sure if it's dumbed down for the Xbox but looks very nice on the PC with all the physics turned on and the resolution ramped up to 1080 (or above)

It sounds like I would enjoy it then:d I can see myself only completing it once thou. I may go out and buy this shortly.
