Elmo
I have just bough a pair of number plate surrounds from jay n/a which are standard black. I will be getting my car re-sprayed in the next few weeks and can't decide weather to get them colour coded or leave the stock black. Oh, my car is Storm Blue. Any comments would be appreciated
Stonkin
You mean the ones on the rear? If your going to the expense of respraying the car, i'm not sure why you would fit a horrible looking plastic plate surround, they are awful mate, sorry, just my opinion of course. Would probably be better colour coded to hide them a bit unless you have any other black exterior parts that they could maybe contrast with? I actually really like them, believe or not I have been looking for a set for ages, I think it makes the rear end a little bit more interesting, I suppose each to their own
Stonkin
Oh yeah totally mate, wasnt intending to come across rude Any other exterior parts black? Edited August 26, 2010 by Stonkin (see edit history)
Elmo
no offense taken mate, I know they're not to everyones taste. My car body is stock, but when the car is re-sparyed I'm looking to get the black skirt bits and the front bumper lip colour coded, so I guess it would make sense to have any black parts (number plate surround included) sprayed also. evinX
Keep them stock black, painted surrounds look tacky imo, will break the rear up a bit to, just give them a nice armorall:) plus its plastic, so after a few jet washes the paint will probably fly of
scotty71
I think they look cack and cheap myself but each to their own If you must have them on I would leave them black as colour coded would make them look more of an abomination they already are
