LEDs you can get some pretty good multi-colour sets off of ebay sent over from the states. Unfortunately I can't remember where I got my purple ones from.

 

Noooooo! they really don't last, but they are cheap!

Just a note these are not 3M, only the adhesive is 3M.

 

The absolute best undercar lighting has to be IceLed, this stuff is awesome (yes i do own a UFO kit, scanner and several other bits and bobs)

This is true 2.1million colour capable, smooth colour changing, audio responsive, 12V, millitary grade components, Lexan tubes - which will withstand being run over at 30mph

 

It is completely networked so each pixel is controlled individually by the ECU. Its a propper premuim product. But really expensive - oh and before i get accused of trading, no i don't sell them. but Litewave do.
