Ive had bad run in's with smackrats in the last 5 years.

One time we caught one in my friends house when we came back from somewhere, we chased him up stairs then he jumped out of the bedroom window and ran off, we ran back downstairs and out of the house but the smackhead had gone:( It turns out the next day this guy was in hospital with broken legs or (something similar), which would have been when he jumped out the window. But the fact he ran off after jumping out of the window shows that they dont feel pain when high.

 

I have another good example which happened in blackpool but I cant talk about that on public forum.

Compassion is something that people lack these days.

Compassion should be used where it's warranted. I have many run ins with drug users and they constantly portray themselves as 'victims', and that the whole world owes them a favour, and they need to be spoon fed every aspect of their lives. They're to drug addled to work, yet not to ill to go out committing crime.

 

Lock them up for 6-12 months for some serious cold turkey I say.

Drug addicts must have started it at some point, and unless there was a good reason that they started then they should be seen as the scum of society that they are, if they're too weak to sort themselves out with all the help offered just because someone called them a bad name then f*ck 'em.

I have no compassion for junkies who voluntarily decide to inject their bodies with poison and then proceed to burden the rest of society with their thieving antics. The local smackrat broke into my car and stole my CD player amongst other things. I see him around with a methadone/heroine induced haze all the time and the compulsion to kick the cr4p out of him is really high. Alas, I am powerless against our self-abusing friends.
