LOGIE
Never had any issues, nor have my mates with their PS3's. Ive had it a very long time mate (since first released) and ive moved about a bit so its always getting picked up and put down, carefully, but its taken its toll. KamaSupra
LOL I still have a Commodore 64 good as new at my mothers house. RETRO. Retro is just another word for "old cr@p" to make it sound better than it really is Still kind of cool though the old 64 My Sega Master system which I still own as well as a PS3 have never had a problem. Like you say, doesn't help it being moved about so often. I think you should get another PS3.

a98pmalcolm
yer im not a fan of x box... i love there new selling point (the new xbox is whisper quite) nice to see them catching up with mega drive technology hehe Anyway. I have had my PS3 for yearsss and its fine. Unusal to see them die. All my mates have slim lines and only 1 had a problem, it was exchanged straight away for him. All the others are fine
LOGIE
Is it possible to take the hard drive out the old one (fat version) and put it in the slim version in order to keep music and saved games? Thanks all
add heywood
Mine is foobard aswell. Had it fixed for £40 and it lasted all of 2 weeks. I hardly ever play on it either. Was told it's the solder joints getting too hot and then cracking when cooling down.
