After market steering wheels and toyota !!

Hi all !

I know there's been a few threads on steering wheels lately , but i'm undecided on wot to go for :search: as mine is starting to peel pretty badly !

I don't want anything boy racery or chavy , something subtle and black / no chrome !

seen a celica steering wheel which looked ok , but am short on ideas wot others look like , or any aftermarket ones that are pretty similar to stock !

As i've a pre facelift with no airbag , think there are ways of getting around this, as a previous thread stated !

SO could peoples put up some steering wheels they have, stock toyota or aftermarket that come into this criteria please, just to give me an idea !!

Many thanks ;)

A bit of shine isn't always chavy. There are quite a few classy steering wheels out there that are mostly black leather but have a bit of a shine in the middle? I quess it's whatever's in keeping with you individual car though.

Something like this is a down the middle solution. Nothing to do with the fact that I have one mind :innocent:

That looks great. Almost a newer version of my Isotta.

I don't think it's any newer. The sell them both in parallel on the Issota website:

Your interior looks imacculate in that picture. v-nice

I can't tell very well, but have you had the seals around the roof join covered? It looks almost fabric like?

Thanks very much. :)

No, the seals are the originals, but I do give them a rub down now and then with silicone protector, which keeps them supple, etc.

Do you have the fabric head liner? - perhaps that's what I'm mistaking it for? Mines the black leatherette variety, which is why I might have got confused.

Do the new Toyota steering wheels fit the standard connectors and steering column? There must be one nice Toyota wheel out there we can use new?

I'd imagine new style wheels will be completely different. I'd imagine that to get close you'd need a vehicle from the same era?
