RedT18
Hey guys, I need to get new side skirts for my car coz those I have now show some cracks. I am planning to do a complete new paint job on the car this winter and I dont want to fix the cracks coz it will crack again I think. So, my problem is, that I want to replace my skirts by new ones which should be the same but I dont know who is the manufacturer of them. I attached some pics, maybe someone of you can identify them. Thank you in advance! http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/3481/img0003ec.jpg http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/1906/img0008q.jpg http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/4012/img0050vy.jpg

dwayne
no probs. you might want to try repairing what you have though cos as far as i know they are hard to get hold of (i could be wrong)
evinX
they are hard to find, you know why they have likes of crackles, its the gel coat that goes on the fibreglass, i used to have a set, sand the cracks away and skim filler over it, sounds worse but fillers is going to be more stonger and flexible than the cheap gel coat that is used on replicas
nevins
Use stoppers not fillers its more flexible fella
dwayne
mine cracked from the fixing hole at the back about an inch long straight around to the face of the skirt. i did a similar thing but i drilled a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it going further then scored the crack to make it about 2mm wide (not all the way through). after that i used that ready mixed fibreglass stuff from halfords and finished with filler to keep it neat cos the fibreglass left a few pin holes when sanded. slightly off topic but does anyone know how to identify top secret originals from cheaper copies? The side skirts had jacking point markers moulded into them though, and the front bumper had the full undertray.
evinX
Use stoppers not fillers its more flexible fella Im not sure dude, stoppers are used to sort out pin holes and tiny marks in filler
