SupraStar 3000
Is it me, or does anyone else find when eating sweetcorn or popcorn, its really irritating trying to avoid getting those little tiny husk things caught between your teeth, then when you inevitably do, spending the next few hours trying to pick the debris out of your mouth. I love sweatcorn, with a great big dollop of melted butter dripped off,.... but half the fun is returning to a neanderthal type state and eating the corn right off the cob. But the consequence out way the enjoyment and more than likely, I just saw off the corn with a knife and folk, missing out on the sugary goodness within the root. Popcorn is the same. A night in watching a good film and a bucket of toffee flavored is unbeatable,.... but the awkward 60 minutes of covert root canal surgery whilst pretending to enjoy the film I could do without. discuss

RedM
Are you really talking about food or really on about sweetcorn bits from the cornholio?

I know what you're saying though, it is annoying getting all the crap stuck between your teeth, it's kind of fun picking it out though

evinX
My solution for you would be, put on another film and bring out the toothpicks:D I know its annoying, but soooo worth it!!
AndrewOW
Other things on your mind? Yes, as always. And your point is? 'Sweatcorn' and popcorn are great, and the little bits of them stuck in your teeth is just like a hamster style storage system for a later snacky moment. When the stuff comes back out it seems like a real achievement. Same with peanuts for me
Ricky49
You need a gum sheild Ed. Problem is you tend to slide of the cob.
SupraStar 3000
Gum sheild sounds like the way forward. Maybe I could customise them with small serrated teeth for grip. I'm now at work having spent most of the night trying to extract the last few chunks of corn and I still feel like something is stuck in there. Simples / Oh and Salted Popcorn is the best. FACT Salted popcorn is wrong. Butterkist toffee or cinema sweet are the best 'corns around.
