Matt H
Here's mine fitted. Went on like a dream I connected the booster wire to the red wire for the stock ariel motor. My reception isn't 100% though. I get Radio 1 just fine, but I tend to listen to my local radio Key103 and it can be a bit crackly at times. Still, it's rare that I have the radio on anyway as the iPod is usually connected.

Guigsy
i had a go at fitting mine... few moronic questions.. 1 - how to you remove the locking nut? i had a bit of a go with aa screwdriver/pliers but didnt want to damage the chrome/paint if i slipped. 2 - i know this cant be hard but how do you remove the boot plastics? lol. i gave them a damn good tug but they dont want to budge. in my defence it was damn cold today and as i only got the car back from the bodyshop yesterday and it was dry i decided to take her out to clear the cobwebs
supra steveo
* UPDATED VERSION* continued from the first post this how the extension bar now goes together this picture shows the bracket fitted now the bracket is fitted you should be able to see the top of the bracket i.e. the bit the extension bar goes through now put the extension bar throught the hole in the car body and the top of the bracket, then fit the large nut to extension bar and tighten now that this is tight fit the S2000 stubby to the top of the extension bar and the amplified base to the bottom of the extension bar ( as the amplified base is now not under any stress ) any dramas PM me Edited November 15, 2012 by supra steveo (see edit history)
Rummy
Got this today. I'm struggling to pick up Radio 1 but I'll connect the booster up and hope that sorts it. If not, I'm not really fussed as I also mainly listen to the iPod. Looks good though. Many thanks!

You need to be a paid member and then you can access the group buy that is currently running for these aerials
Big Mark
I'm guessing that both red wires should be connected to a 12 volt power source or is it just the in-line booster that needs power?
dangerous brain
One of these was on my car when I bought it and radio reception is almost non existent. Occasionally we'll get a strong signal but other than that nowt. Need to have a scout and see if the signal booster is even there I guess. trebor69
Yeah I lost my reception too when I fitted this .....I may have not connected the amp part correctly ......just threw it together as I was busy.....another job for the near future;)

Big Mark
yes mark connect both to a live round the back of the stereo , btw ive managaed to order the wrong inline amps for this group buy so ive balls it up massively lol, I did notice it was wrong and then saw your post on here. Never mind, these things happen. I rarely use the radio so ain't too fussed, it'll just be nice to get this job finished and crossed off my to-do list. I know now what to do once the new inline amplifier arrives.

supra steveo
yes mate attach both red wires to it, i believe the ignition wire is yellow on most car but i could be wrong
dangerous brain
AH! I noticed only 1 red wire at the aerial end. Is there meant to be two? Maybe there is something that is not connected that will explain my lack of reception. Further ahah moment of realisation has occurred!! I have no in-line amplifier hence only one red wire lol. Doesn't quite explain why I have better reception from a short length of wire stuffed in the radio's antenna hole than the actual aerial. Must still have a disconnect of some sort.
