Swampy442
Ive got some sort of virus/adware/malware thing happening with my OS. It only manifests itself when you search for something on a search engine then go to open it. For example if I searched for MKIVsupra.net it would find the site fine, but when you go to open the link it directs you somewhere else, nothing too bad just travel sites or insurance sites. Using Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP, searched using google, Bing etc but the same thing happens so I assume its within Explorer Ive ran AVG and Spybot without success, can anyone help? Please?? dangerous brain
Tried http://housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/ also adaware is still free I think. Have you recently changed to an open DNS server as that will also do exactly what you are saying.

dangerous brain
If you've messed about with your internet settings when port forwarding for torrent downloading then you will more than likely have changed your dns settings, something along the lines of this http://www.opendns.com/ because of this http://portforward.com/ Virus scanners probably won"t pick that up.
