JustGav
Oil starvation with tyres?? Oh wait, do you mean due to grip levels, can't say I've heard of many people having that as an issue before.
Guest niteryder
I know Terminator has a modified sump - extra internal baffles and a modified oil pick-up - probably necessary. At most power levels you will run out of grip before oil starvation.
Wez
Not heard of this being a prob on the MKIV, even on motors setup for track use.
bignum
I run full slicks on my dry trackdays and have done for over 4 years with no oil issues, you may notice a slight pressure drop under heavy braking but again nothing to upset the 2jz. patrik
thank you for your quick replys and i think i will just let the sump be for the time being then :-) i will not be using slicks soo i will never come up to those g forces. And if the supra works with those im home free.
Kirk
Should be totaly fine mate. Digsy pointed out a while ago that most car sumps, including ones you wouldnt think would have such a problem are tested to handle 1.0g cornering and about 0.5 acceleration G. I think you would only run into problems with cornering forces similiar to full on race car levels of grip but i highly doubt a supra could ever replicate such forces.
