Lude Posted August 14, 2010 Share Posted August 14, 2010 i have a real bad snoring problem, my girlfriend has to sleep downstairs on the setee its so bad, has anyone used anything thats cured it? you can get sorta gumsheild things so that you mouth stays a certain position thro the nite, so you dont snore.... anyone any views? Are you a ahem, larger, man? I ask, because if so, it might be worth getting checked out for sleep apnea. I believe the gumshields force your lower jaw forward a bit, so the soft tissue at the back of the throat doesn't close down so much. ozz Posted August 14, 2010 Share Posted August 14, 2010 I've been a bad snorer for a while and was also going to ask if you were overweight. Since I got back into my weightlifted my snoring has stopped! I didn't think I'd lost much weight yet so not sure why, in fact my weight has gone up 3 or 4 lbs but I am in a little better shape. Josh Posted August 14, 2010 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Yeah, apparently I snore very loudly when drunk and fall asleep/pass out on my back.
