JamieP
Very hard to fit 28" tyres to a stock body supra, i could not get them to fit mine without rubbing, i hear you can do it if you jack it right up and get the right geo setup, 26" are a far safer setup. mark newman
Oh but 28'' is what you really need for a 4th gear pull to the end.
JamieP
I did 140mph on 26" wheels in 4th gear on one of my runs.

JamieP
How did you get them in? i pulled mine in with an old wheel nut but it was very hard and i have on my mind that i stretched the studs so was gonna change them.
mark newman
I took the edge of the new studes with a file, put them in the freezer over night. oil on the studs , and pulled them in with a long wheel nut, with a 4 ft bar . you have to lock the hub, did mine with the hole that I drilled into the back of the brake assembley and jaming a bar form the hub into the new hole. mark newman
The car is booked in with Ryan on the 12th for re-mapping should be good this time , no wheel spin on the dyno, with these tyres.

You absolutley cannot map on a dyno withj drag radials Mark, they will delaminate after about 3 full power pulls and be throw away, I have a pair that have done just that, same with R888's beeen there done that they fall apart as they get too hot.
