Getrag
During the repair of my car, the guy has painted/under coated, whatever, my exhaust tip. Its a stainless steel job so I want to get it sparkly again. Ive tried my usual autosol metal polish and also acetone but to no effect. Any suggestions guys, this is poo. Jake
Rub with Celulose thinners and a cloth, then buff with Solvo Autosol, should work great.
TRD3000GT
if its on VERY thick you can take VERY fine grade wet and dry to it and then auto sol it to polish finish again...

mikeyb10supra
baby oil works well to make it really shine or white spirit just dont go to mad with it you dont wanna go up in flames and certaily dont polish it when you finish driving when its hot!!! :littled:
Getrag
Hehe, never heard of the baby oil. Im ok with polishing it up, its just getting this paint stuff off it. Will try and source some cellulose thinner.
