Evil_Nuts
Yes the whole car is stunning and is in the classifieds for sale section, possibly one of the best mkivs in the country. My pleasure to help, im thinking of putting my airbox back on now to see if i can feel any differance. i might even pop it on the dyno to see. I think you would also be able to use the o/e SMIC pipe that goes behind the airbox as well, i asked Barney about his but he bought if off someone on here and thinks it was a 1 off. Let us know what differance you get dude, I'm spending my days trawling small ads looking for parts......
Dnk
Let us know what differance you get dude, I'm spending my days trawling small ads looking for parts...... It depends if i can get the airbox in place with my hardpipe kit, i did away with the o/e pipework years ago and think it might be a bit of a squeeze as my pipe from the FMIC is straight , i'll have to move the alarm siren thing as well ! Dnk
The O/E Airbox is back on the car after a small amount of fiddling and swearing I was actually able to use both the hard pipes i made with the silicon hoses so im quite chuffed with that, i've just got to get a panel filter for it and a couple of bolts to fix the airbox back onto its mountings and its off to the dyno Oh and find somewhere for the alarm siren to go and play with the air scoop under the headlamp a bit
jackso11
just out of interest, does the scoop on an abflug bonnet that look like it 'scoops' cold air from outside straight down on to the filter work?
