Warranty question for you

Lets say you buy a set of wheels brand new from a supplier, then 4 months down the line you report that they are going rotten.

 

Initially, new different exchange wheels are sourced and are agreed that that the wheels will be swapped under the warranty.

 

Then, 6 months later and my new wheels still haven't arrived. So I ask for a full refund.

 

The supplier is suggesting that I pay for the carriage of returning the wheels. Is this right?. I already have to fork out for having the tyres removed, now they want this on top.

 

I can see where this is going to end up. I return the wheels and they arrive damage, voiding my warranty and causing more grief.

 

Any advice?
