You're not allowed to fast if youre ill, on your period, poor etc. If you have a heart condition you are forbiden from fasting if it will have an adverse affect on your health.

Sounds like there is an excuse for everything.

Cant you just have an opt-in-experience? :D

Ham, with extra Ham and salad sandwiches for me

I'm in Kuwait for 12-hours and if I eat anything in public then it's a 100KD (230 quid) fine and a possible 3-month jail sentence.

What? Are you sure about that? That is a joke. What if you give food to the poor?

That doesn't make sense at all.

My father in law used to teach English to pilots in the Omani Air Force and he always complained that it was very difficult to get them to focus during Ramadan as they were all so hungry during the day.

On a separate subject of religious observance and slacking off work, I used to work with a girl who was a 7th Day Adventist, and in winter she used to cock off early on a Friday so she would not be working after sundown. However she never made up the hours during the long summer evenings.

Nice tits though.

That's the law of the land mate - or should I say: the law of the giant sandpit:D

These people (i.e. the Kuwaiti fellows) are lazy at the best of times never mind when giving them an excuse to scive even more:Pling:

In one of the fattest countries in the world, you're trying to tell me that s actually stop eating?! I thought it was one big place of indulgence (well, if you're an indigenous Kuwaiti that is).

My God I wouldn't last 2 hours at this. I'd have to sleep all day and wake up at night to do what needs to be done, I don't weight more than 10/10.5 stone but I bet I eat more than most of you brick shat houses - this would be torture for me.

Don't do lent or any of that either, the only religious things I take part in are Christmas and Easter and the're not for religious reasons either. bravo to those that make it, I know I couldn't. My friend Yasmin does this (the only thing she does do) and says it's the only way to stop herself bursting into flames on the day of reckoning - still it'd take her 6 months to starve to death bless her lol

Your friend Yasmin doesn't happen to live in Walthamstow & drive a light blue Pug 206cc by any chance?

To be honest it is not that hard as everyone makes it out to be.

It is a bit like skipping dinner & then eating slightly late, though it is designed to make you feel hungry.

My productivity has gone up at work as I am not concentrating, so then I don't think of food. :D

Ramzan Mubarak Ya'll

The only things that get me are the headaches from lack of Tea in the morning and the first few days while your stomach is adjusting.

Might also be worth mentioning its a lot easier for us folk in the UK, imagine working in the desert at +40 without drink!....oh I better also change my avatar!
