slugger1
After the world cup debacle I wonder how many will tune in tonight. I for one won't be. Although I am a member of the England fan club i'm really uninterested at the moment. Not even sure if i'm going to attend the Euro qualifiers as they seem to be arranging these on Friday nights now so that the players get an extra days rest! WTF! Josh
I didn't even know they were playing until I heard it on the radio this morning. I don't really follow football, I watched the World Cup but won't be bothered about this.
TopgunTT
Yes i will be watching it to see how the new boys will get on.
martini
I won't be watching it, nor do I care. Overrated sport, full of overpaid thickos.
stevie_b
I doubt I'll watch it. I did discover during the World Cup that watching football is ideal for doing ironing to, so I might record it and play it back for future laundry purposes. At least rags like The Sun will find it harder to whip people up into an "England will conquer all" frenzy, due to the team's World Cup performance. I'm sure those involved will have short memories though and normal service will be resumed in Euro 2012.

Supra Gaz
No. They are over-paid monkeys dancing to a tune of £60k a week for punting around a sack of air.

ilicos
What new boys? A couple of fresh faces is not a new team!!! They are still a load of ignorant and arrogant imbeciles that wouldn't know what national pride was if it was to land on their heads! hogmaw
No. They are over-paid monkeys dancing to a tune of £60k a week for punting around a sack of air. I have no idea why people who don't care for football say things like this. It's like saying motor racing is 'driving round and round in circles in a silly car' or tennis is just 'hitting a ball with a racket over a net'. If you don't like it, just ignore it, instead of making yourself look foolish. And much as I like the game, I won't be watching because as a friendly just before the start of the season it's a farcical non-event. RiceRocket
Can't really see it being much of a game as the Premiership is back this weekend and the players will be saving themselves for that. Unless they're really inept then I'd fancy Hungary to win by a goal...

Ian W
Lovely little goal there from Gerrard, but the keeper wont be happy beaten at his near post If Gerrard could do that consistently he'd be one heck of a player. Far too many times he looks a bit average imo.
