kosmic
What about Ultima cars, group C replicas. http://www.ultimasports.co.uk/ Devastantingly fast, speed and handling is awesome.
Guest Terry S
yeah wanted something on a reasonable budget, I looked at building an Ultima once before but I think it would realistically cost 50k for the top spec, and probably take me 2 years to build, plus I wouldnt have room in my gargae to build it
eyefi
someone in the family builds the chassis at dax, he's had a few rushes, various engines. never driven one but pretty awesome from the passenger seat. a friends friend had a 3.5 ltr(iirc) striker, that was downright dangerous. The 3 I listed seem the best handling for the ££. The Dax is dearer than the other two but has a great reputation. The striker appeals as you can use the MK1 MR2 engine mated to a T5 Cossie box. Hayabusa engine & box appealing but they seem to be going for silly money now.

Dave S
yeah....just a go-cart really...totally impractical for anything else....I want one!! price prob drop considerably when then the media exposure has died down...
Guest Terry S
The Go Kart thing is the appeal, as well as much lower running costs for track usage.

Guest Terry S
Alex something like this too http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29750&item=4554738734&rd=1 but I worry about bike engines being fragile, and also kinda like the idea of bolting it together myself. Alex
Bike engines are good for lightness but I'd guess they can be fragile. Totally understand the wanting to bolt it together yourself approach... Why don't you get your fabrication guy's to make you a chassis

Gaz Walker
I think I'd fancy the Atom too. With the 'busa engine. You must be selling a few turbo kits then Terry Gaz.
