Kiss the concept, shoot the stylist?

Adrian Reynard has turned out winning race cars in a diverse arena of formulae, and has now turned his hand to a track day car that is supposed to have the highest downforce of any product anywhere near its market price. He has just announced a road legal version. Whilst the concept of very light weight, affordable small power units, and a compact design with oodles of downforce ticks all my boxes concept wise, I feel this founders on its looks, it just doesn't gel at all in my opinion. What do you think?

And they worry about bonnet heights when they let something like this pass the IVA! That wing on the back could easily chop someone's head straight off or the front splitter would take a good clean swipe at your ankle!

I won't doubt their claims they have been in the business a long time as Chris mentioned. Must be brutal!

With a rear wing like that its obviously not had good design in terms of rear grip from the chassis alone.

If you're going to build a customer purchase track car then surely you have to make it appealing in both performance AND looks ?

Its looks like a childs design thats been vacuum moulded in one piece. I wonder if, for cheapness of production, they have actually made it as a one piece fibreglass mould.

Far too long in the tail, ridiculous spolier and the front air dam, splitter thing looks like the mould hasn't been properly cut out.
