Mine is this years season ticket for Man U, saved a cool £1200 not including the cost of actually getting there, so i paid my insurance in one go and boought Sky HD!!:omg:

I've got two friends that would call you insane for making do without your Man U season ticket! :D Waste of money in my mind though, you did the right thing ;)

Ohhhh,.... if we were on Mastermind this would be my specialist subject!

Mine are costing me more than I care to remember - savings, holidays, relationships etc

Last month I was literally just eating toast and water for 3 weeks as the cars cleaned me out.

Its an addiction and I need help.

For some reason i always thought you lived with your mum

Going out on the town and getting drunk, have to stay home and get drunk instead some weeks now :D Think I'm at that age where I just have to always hang out with my mates. Don't really sacrifice anything else as I've got enough money for my other out goings.

Great thing about being single at the moment is once the mortgage is paid off for the month, I can save or spend the rest on the car ;)

My money + I've no girlfriend or wife to moan= No sacrifices to be made :)

Do you know, I have some change in my pocket and I'd like to send it to your personal food appeal.

PM me your address please Ed.

No. I live with his mum.

To answer the question, I'd never really thought of buying the Supe and maintaining it as a sacrifice - and no I don't earn loads of money.

It's more that in the past I didn't really spend money on stuff other than going out, and going out and then somtimes I just spent money on going out.

I don't drink anymore *yawns* I've never smoked, don't gamble (other than my filthy £5 per week lottery habit or 'tax on the stupid' as I like to think of it)

I'd also had it 8 years before I went BPU and added the kit and wheels, so in a sense the car had very little outlay up to that point - other than fuel, servicing and insurance costs.

So what sacrifices then?

None. :)
