Nick
Nice toy for those with deep pockets ! "When Lotus hinted that its Exos Type 125 track-day car would deliver the ultimate customer track experience, we had no idea they meant this ultimate" http://www.autoblog.com/2010/08/09/lotus-exos-type-125-revealed-as-quasi-f1-car/

Thorin
That's a bit of a step up from the 2-Eleven. $1 Million price tag though...
Wez
$1 Million price tag though... I think a full spec list might be needed to see what you get for that $1 Million.
AJI
can somebody lend me 1 million dollars?
Chris Wilson
It's also a virtually useless toy in the UK as 99% of track day organisers ban open wheel single seaters. That would limit you to getting a race licence and running it just on test days. Given that you might as well buy an historic F1 and have the excellent residuals, or even a good profit, when you come to flog it. That said, I don't suppose someone in that sort of marketplace is too worried about residuals
Nick
I think the people that buy these will just sign up to their "training and racing program". They'll just turn up for an organised days jolly and let someone else worry about the details. Nice life if you can get it !
Gaz6002
Lotus will be running its own race series with this car, and they're not exactly planning on selling millions so they're not bothered how suitable it is This is an exercise in engineering.
