dani_r
Hello there! I have recently had a new TS front end put on my car. I was wondering where and how people have mounted a number plate to the car that doesn't mean totally mangling/drilling the nice new bumper? Cheers Dan

Ricardod
did mine with Velcro FE sticky tape sticks insanely well and survived winter rain and sun. and if i wanna clean my bumper i just get it off and clean underneath the nr plate too Edited August 8, 2010 by Ricardod (see edit history)
Nic
I used a short length on L-section aluminium bolted to bumper to form a bracket.

Mario
Nice looking front end(s), found this picture online, the area in front of the fmic is free to breath,http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/2077/4881/30192440081_large.jpg

Mario
Yes indeed, it's not really fine aligned, but the fmic can breath, and i'm not really sure, in rare cases you see vinyl stickers with the digits of the license plate attached between the headlights, but i don't know if it's legal in the UK. evinX
Get 2, L brackets from b&q with some large rivets, line it up, mark the holes, drill them, rivet your brackets on, get some nice clean colour coded fittings from halfords for £2, might need to drill the holes bigger to fit these, and its job done:) If you want to mount it like post 3 that is, if you want to mount it on the nose, just get some double sided high adhesion tape:)

The only problem is that if you are running additional oil cooler and power steering cooler, this won't be possible. That's the reason I didn't go for this solution.
