ozz
I have a 2002 330Ci with the H/K system. Its really comfortable, looks awesome, nice handling but a bit down on the power. I would recommend other choices unless you want something more "tamed" A bit OT, I didn't know 330s still go for that price. I went in a local car dealer trying to see if he got any interest in my 330Ci and he offered me £4000 for it. Just thought this is a bit low considering I just spent over 400 quid getting new discs and pads. Oh well... If you want the pre-facelift then yes they are cheaper again. Bailey.
the 6 is a good car, but now i have the supra i dont really think about going back, i even sat in my mates one last week and had to moive it and it is a totally different feel to the supra! the seats are so pronounced and the plastic dash is so different, but for a point to point car abseloutly flat out, im currently looking out for a doggy one to drash! RobD
I don't really like the aristo's good cars but to dated for me, just left jurgens saw a superb looking S15 at his but not enough room in the back, I saw a r34 gts with a gtr front bumper with loads of room in the back so I will be looking into insurance costs on one of them later on. I'll start a new thread with the pics I took at jurgens later on also, saw some lovely cars there, I even touched an 02 plate supra! :D:D
marcAB10
R34 gtt all day long mate, I wouldn't have thought insurance will be too bad.

hadyn
Im going to jump in here and suggest my Supra replacement (although theres not much if anything that can replace a Supra in terms of build quality and performance for the money): BH5 Subaru Legacy GTB Twin Turbo. EJ20 boxer, twin turbo, Bilstein suspension all contained in a rather practical, comfy and nice estate bodyshell: Build quality isnt as good as the Supra and the Subaru twin turbo system isnt as well thought out as the Supras, but this car holistically does a great job and really makes me smile 280ish bhp in these things is enough to trounce all hot hatches etc in day to day driving
Guigsy
they are nice too. the legnum has a better build quality inside though i would guess. its a nice place to sit. mine has full leather which is nice I think the legnum looks meaner p.s love the ghostbuster sticker

RobD
Thanks for all the suggestions so far, keep them coming! I really liked the r34 i saw at Jurgens today but will have a look at the legnum etc to! I think someone suggested a focus rs to which i've always liked but would prefer something jap! Scott
Focus RS was my idea I think. Has to be the RS though, will be difficult to get in budget but it is definitely the Ford to have. Don't let its non-Jap orientation sway you. It is a serious bit of over-engineered kit. It will hold its money something rotten too.
hadyn
Isnt the new focus basically a mazda with a volvo engine?
Bailey.
Legnums rip, there fuckin heavy though, we bought one at Southampton about 3 years ago, £1875 Inc imdemiety, in White and they really shift, going back to wieght it blew a fuse on the way back on the 303 and we had to push it 100 yards up a slight incline to a layby, 4 of us nearly died that day!!! Lol

RobD
I quite like the first shape focus rs, I'll get quotes in one! The r34 gts came in at £3300, what a joke! I won't be looking at getting anything else until next year now as I've just done a deal with Jurgen ( top bloke) for an engine I saw at his lock up yesterday, I feel like I need to put a TT engine in her before I say goodbye as I don't think I'll have the chance of owning one again now and in my eyes will finish my car off what with the other bits I've sourced over the last month or so

Gaz6002
If you're looking at an Evo 6, the Focus RS is going to leave you feeling VERY disappointed. It's a pretty decent car - for a FWD hot hatch - but that's all it can ever be. Torque steers a lot too, despite what Ford's PR department would like you to think

I think there is only a half second or so between them on the top gear track. The torque steer is a bit much but the handling that comes from it's diff is fantastic. Guy in work has one, I love it. In real-world conditions the Evo will be noticeably faster point-to-point IMO.
RobD
It all rests on what I can warrant insuring, evo being £2700 I think it was , was way out of the money I'd want to pay, I paid 2k for my supra last year and would be willing to do that again aslong as it's worth it! I'd prefer the Evo tbh but I have missed being sat in a newer car since owning the supra, which the focus RS offers.
RobD
You will probably change your mind once you have it being blown Kinda hoping that if I'm honest, I'm buying a Y reg kangoo from a mate at work in the next couple of months, so may keep the supra and the kangoo as a family bus, I do fear the supra would never get driven though
edge
Gt4 st205 and have spare change and they respond well to mods but check suspension and have more room in the back than a supe. Bmw M5. They also done a estate car (cant remember the name) thats the same shape as an avensis but its 4wd and has the celica gt4 engine in it. 300bhp with some bpu mods. RobD
GT-4 is another I quite like to own somewhere down the line and is obviously still Toyota so cheap parts for me!
