Supraudi
I want to change all the silicon hoses in the engine bay for blue ones? Can someone tell me where is the best place to buy in the uk? Also what size are they and how long do you think I need to do all the hoses?
hoff
Most traders on here do them, as do Demon Tweeks and many other well know places such as revoloutuion etc. Or direct to Samco or one of the other makes:) There was a thread in which Miko supra did them all, may even have been started by him. He gave the sizes and lenghs.
mwilkinson
Hose techniques in the states do a kit which I bought a few years back. Unfortunately the exchange rates aren't as favourable these days.
hoff
Also if you're after turbo and coolant pipes there are kits already made up as above by the likes of samco. As for the vaccuum hoses thats when mikes thead comes in handy.

Supraudi
Thanks for the info. Yes I know about the kit from the states. I didn't want to wait that long as I want it for Suprapod. I will ring a few traders on here to get a price.
Angarak
FYI, if its not reinforced silicon hose it can collapse, silicon hoses are more prone to slipping off what they're connected to. Over tightening the clips holding the silicon in place can cause splitting. Silicon hose is OK as long as its proper reinforced stuff. SimonT
Paul Whiffin I think can get them too from Viper Performance but you will need to give him the measurements.

Dnk
Buy whatever you need direct from somewhere like http://www.artelmotorsport.co.uk / http://www.artelrubber.co.uk If you google silicon hose uk you'll get a list of all the suppliers and you can buy direct from most of them, cut out the middle man and save yourself a few £££'s, i did with my engine bay hoses which are 3 ply and dont fall off or collapse If you buy in single lengths of whatever size you need then simply use a new stanley blade and cut to length. What exact type of hoses have you used to replace the stock ones? I think the smallest ID ones are 4mm, did you get them from the link you posted? Dnk
Engine bay is looking good Dunk! Thanks mate although its not finished yet and possibly never will be Very nice engine bay Dunk... Can't wait to see your car at the Corlely meet.. See you Saturday What exact type of hoses have you used to replace the stock ones? I think the smallest ID ones are 4mm, did you get them from the link you posted? All the ones you see in Blue are 3 ply silicon hose, ive not used this on the very small vac pipes, their o/e. I actually got mine from Goode motorsport in Lutterworth but wished i'd gone direct as all your doing is paying a middle man for doing very little.
