Swampy442
Only from hot starts though, can anyone give me a pointer as to what might be causing this? As the AFRs drop off the revs drop off and start to hunt. Once the AFR/revs have recovered they stay at normal idle revs/AFRs. I have no idea what could be causing it. If you turn the sound up you can just about hear the engine note. Car is an Aristo, stock ECU and injectors, Walbro pump, AEM Uego wideband sensor and gauge. chrispot
I had similar problems on my MK3 supra turbo only on hot starts i did'nt have an afr gauge in it to check what was happening but would idle very badly for a minute or so then settle down, it turned out to be my fuel pressure regulator, the regulator i had fitted was a adjustable one the make was FSE, put Oem regulator back in no more problems, other possible causes could be O2 sensor giving a rich signal utill warms up? air leaks as said before, hope you get it sorted regards chris.
