HKS Coilovers

Recommended Posts

Hello, Because I'm an idiot I accidently let all the gas out of one of my coilovers. I rang kwik fit as they do nitrogen tyre inflation and asked if they would do it for me and he said he wont do it for me but I am more than welcome to use the machine myself. The question is... can I simply pump it full of nitrogen like a tyre and everything will be ok? Also what pressure? I was going to get a tyre pressure gauge and check the other side and match it? I am thinking it will all be fine but as I'm not sure I just wanted clarification from someone with half a brain.

Thanks alot for any help.

Rang Sumo power today and they said they need to know the exact make of my coilovers and any part numbers that might be on them so that he can ring HKS to find out the exact amount of pressue thats needed. So hopefully he will ring back tomorrow and be able to do it for me.

Went to kwik fit to put 50psi in just to stop it knocking but they didnt want to take the wheels off saying that my car was too low.

Chris I would love to be able to take a trip to you for you to have a tinker with the geo also on my car, but you are a bit too far from me and I really haven't got the money to take that trip at the moment.
