TTRickeh
Just finished a lovely can of Mountain Dew. The energy version isn't very nice I agree. I remember drinking Mountain Dew as a kid so I was well chuffed when I found out Baguette Express sell it
Geo
You can't poo-poo Energy Drinks then advocate sweetner! Hang on, one minute I'm too skinny, then the next I'm obese! That kind talk could produce a complex 1-2 tabs of sweetner vs Can of Red Bull, Mmmmmm, course i can Poo on Energy Drinks. You do realise you can be Skinny Fat, yes there is such a thing. caseys
Wow @ caseys! What a story. Do you have any teeth left? Those things are almost pure sugar Yep, lots of teeth left, probably 8 years of heavy caffiene abuse... Wow, that's a lot and certainly a good advert for not over consuming. There's a guy in my office that eats terribly. He's probably morbidly obese and often drinks one of those litre bottles of Tesco branded energy drinks for lunch. We’re fully expecting him to keel over at some point. I'm a little overweight but not morbidly obese. I've got a 44' chest but a 36' waist... As Geo said, caffiene in moderation can help maintain a healthy lifestyle and help with exercise... but all in moderation for sure. My 5 day near death experience.... I've got some pictures somewhere in fact of needles in both my arms ready for drugs / blood transfusions somewhere that i really should upload. Made me look like spiderman but they didn't shoot webs out... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=211557

Matt H
1-2 tabs of sweetner vs Can of Red Bull, Mmmmmm. : No, we were talking about 1-2 sweetners vs the equivalent sugar. : You do realise you can be Skinny Fat, yes there is such a thing. You've got issues!
supra_aero
Some shocking things on this thread. For what its worth I loved mountain dew and was crushed when they stopped making it. I have not tried this energy drink though. I didn't even know it existed! I do recall when I drank 4-5 kicks (Tesco version of redbull) each night for 2 weeks during university coursework period. After a while my vein on my neck began to throb very violently and vividly. I stopped drinking energy drinks for years after that. Now only do when I am really tired and need a kickstart to stay awake.

My Wife saw some cans in a shop a few weeks back. They wanted £1.50 per can or £4.50 for a 2l bottle.

Harry Sachs
I hate Mountain Dew, I remember years back I went to the cinema with a few of my mates. Went to see Independance Day, Half way through the film I dropped my 3/4 full can over me. I thought to myself 'ah it will be dry by the time I'm out' Well I had forgotten I was wearing a grey Umbro sweatsuit............I had to walk home looking like I had pi55ed myself, that sucked.
