BigRoy Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 Yes and no! Best thing to do is to contact you local Primary Care Trust and tell them that you need to speak to their Dental Advisor. If he/she is not in then stress that you are in lots of pain, have no dentist and need help. Most Hospitals will have a emergency dental department and the PCT will be able to either, book you in or give you details of an NHS dentist in the area where you can book in an emergency appointment. Although the NHS is free you would be liable for "extras" like crowns, white fillings etc. I went private, havnt been in 8 years and it just cost me £1400!!!!!!
