Lude
have found the guide to removing, but think its the USA one as the ABS and other parts are on the other side? http://mkiv.com/tmp/no_charcoal_canister/ anyway, do you have to join any pipes together? isnt it a case of disconecting them all, removing the canister, then just blocking the 1 that goes to the manifold? (the vacuum) or are there other things which need doing?
hodge
Block off the pipe that runs round the back of the engine to the turbo pipes. Block off or remove the pipe that runs along the side of the plenum. The third pipe, if you want it super tidy, just bend it down to vent under the car, remove the canister and the bracket.
