JODY T
Any one had one? Wats the pedal feel? Maybe % diff from stock? Thanks
Terminator
Only have experience in the Skyline box, but were sold the wrong release bearing, too big so the pressure was massive due to less leverage when changing. I think there is a chart on Supra forums with a subjective list compared to stock.
Chris Wilson
Have had a few cars in with these clutches, worn out prematurely and heavy pedals, or not releasing fully. IMO the only really decent off the shelf multi plate kits are OS Giken.
Terminator
Have to agree, had a OS Giken twin plate in our Skyline powered track car and I have a triple plate in mine. Both are excellent. Can't comment on how close feel is to stock, but coming from 15 years of not having to use my left foot to these clutches in high powered cars was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Can't fault the OS Gikens on quality of construction and durability. Superb clutches both of them. Mine has unsprung plates where as the twin had sprung plates, the sprung ones are a little more forgiving, if you get the engine revs/prop revs match wrong. Both clutches have handled every thing we threw at them so far.
edge
Jody. I'm sure lee has an OSg in his. I Have driven that and it feels pretty stock unlike the rps paddle and flywheel i had in mine.

JODY T
Lees is a southbend isnt it? ive driven a single with a OSG and was very impressed with it, pedal felt nice, the noise does my head in though.. guess ill have to get used to that with a twin plate lol Ive only got 400hp twinplate is abit over the top but then it is futureproofing i suppose WOuld e interested to hear if anyone else has the exedy TP, I dont mind a harder pedal but i dont want to build muscles in one leg lol I think the noise is a given but I suppose i should just try it, if i dont like it at least it will have tied me over untill i can find something better.. To say my clutch is slipping is an understatement, I think a 1.1 metro could out drag me at the mo lol..
Wez
Might be worth chatting to JamieP, think he is running a single plate with stock feel, it seems to take the abuse too
edge
Sorry, yes it is a southbend.
