Rob
Depends where it went through. If its the shoulder then no garage will repair it, if its in the tread then its a simple £6 - £10 repair job. I had a 10mm bolt in my rear tyre once, got it repaired and the tyre was fine, even up to *ahem* speeds.
grahamc
good to hear! its right in the middle of the tyre, so no where near the sides. Previous one was too close to the tyre to repair Will take it in tomorrow morning...
dr_jekyll
some companies have vaulkanising eqiptment. this allows them to leagaly and safely repair shoulders and walls on tyres . it takes about an hour per repair and costs around £20 to do
Bobbeh
Yeah should be ok if its in the middle of the tyre.. like Rob says sidewall damage is a must replace job!
