evinX
They pushed your passenger side mirror outwards to, i think the fibreglass shell for the rear arch will be fine if its blended. VeilSilde! go on:D
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
I'll be going back up tomorrow and I'll have a word and try and get the arches cut away. They test fitted the wheels and there was good clearance, even when they 'bounced on the car' but I'd prefer for them to be cut away for safety!better be safe than sorry
Sharpe
Id also agree that they need to be cut back, "bouncing" on the car will not compress the shocks like you will whilst driving. I don't remember a single car where ive fitted arches like those without cutting back the original panel work for clearance.

We'll head back over to Otterburn on the 15th Aman for a Top Gear style test in the field.
Matt H
Those wheels look gorgeous with the large lip. I wasn't a big fan of the Rota's, but those a lovely Should look great when finished (have you time to get a different front bumper though? )
aman00123
Me too mate, wasn't a fan of Rota's till these came out and just went "I want"!!! Already have the front bumper mate sitting in the shop, just hasn't been put on yet......
aman00123
Quick update, car is now in the booth being sprayed Will have it back on Saturday morning so finished pics then Until then I have a couple more with the wheels on and the front end on too
JamieP
Wheels look to sit well with the arches:cool: bringing it to suprapod? Did you have them cut the stock arch?
aman00123
Yea they sit quite nicely Didn't have them cut in the end mate as there was plenty of clearance, don't know how everyone else needed their arches cut Have checked it properly and the overfenders actually sit a little lower than the stock fenders! Can't make it to the Pod mate as I get it back Saturday morning so wouldn't really get down there in time (to make it worthwhile) plus I can't get any staff in to cover me for the Saturday night

Jamesy
Looks great mate - not really a fan of over fenders but that looks a good job. i cant see how they havent cut the stock arch? surely if the wheel sits out 50mm PAST the arch its going to rub, no? jazz1
If you run decent coilovers you'll be ok
marc_p
i cant see how they havent cut the stock arch? surely if the wheel sits out 50mm PAST the arch its going to rub, no? I saw the car the other week and there is quite a lot of clearance between the wheel and the arch, if the coilovers are stiff then I can't see it catching to be honest. aman00123
Yup, the coilovers are rock solid mate, plenty of clearance and the original arch wont be visible once they're finished. It'll be ready Steveo, have been down there nearly everyday checking on progress and seems to have sped them up
aman00123
Finally got the car back today Took her out for a little spin and then got her back and decided I had to wash her down before I took any pictures. So here you go

aman00123
Thanks for the comments guys. As for the VS front end, original plan was to go full VS but then decided to take the spoiler off! Anyways the VS front end isn't seen as much anymore so decided for something a bit different to the norm
