marcAB10
wheels look awesome, as does the colour, should have a mean stance once the overfenders are on.... i'm afraid the front bumper ruins it for me, but each to there own.
JamieP
Wow, thats a hell of a lot of weight you have on them wheels:blink: What size tyres did you go with on the rears? did the gtr-d fronts clear the uk brakes ok?
jevansio
I'm just trying to dig a pic I saw the other day of a car with the VS front on & I thought, that don't half look bad. I will reserve judgement on the front, but some cars can pull it off

jevansio
Edit.. ignore me, i just posted the same picture:D I didn't realise what it was about the front until you mentioned it, it's that flat bottom that makes it look better isn't it
aman00123
They should be alright really mate I think/hope! Went for 315's on the rear PS2's, got them for £155 each! Front's only just clear UK brakes, very close like but clear them just fine! That white one looks nice like, I quite like the C1, not a fan of the C2, so think it'll come out well, especially with the VS skirts on too
jevansio
C1 is def > C2 You not even tempted to flatten out the bottom lip

aman00123
Hehe, maybe but think i'll leave it with the raised bit in the middle for now mate! Yea was a bit worried at first but they cleared just fine, I'm throwing 3mm spacers on just in case and to get the fronts flusher (is that a word) with the fender too. You've got me worried about the weight now mate, should be alright shouldn't it?
JamieP
You've got me worried about the weight now mate, should be alright shouldn't it? I have never seen so much weight on a wheel, mine only took a tiny amount, something like 15/

aman00123
Hmm, well had it done at Revolutions and did mention it, but they said it was the only way to get them balanced....... One wheel has that on both sides Might take them elsewhere once I get car back to have them double checked
aman00123
Went down to the shop today to check progress and the arches are on, on one side now Is it just me or is this quite slow progress, 2 arches on and semi blended in 3 days (original arches haven't been modified)
JamieP
(original arches haven't been modified) They fitted and blended the veilside arches without cutting back and welding up the original ones?
aman00123
They fitted and blended the veilside arches without cutting back and welding up the original ones? Nope, he said he's going to be constructing some sort of fibreglass shell to hide the original arches as they don't rub on the new wheels at all....... Or should he be cutting/lipping the arch? When I first took it in I thought they would need cutting down but guy in shop (who has done these arches before) says if they don't run you don't need to?) JamieP
I cant belive they dont rub, i cant move more than a few inches without mine rubbing, on a hard bump i think you are going to have trouble, on my Red car i had the arches cut right back and welded up to give clearance, same on my Orange supra. Jurgen-Jm-Imports
i would suggest to speak to him and get them rolled/cut back.
aman00123
I'll be going back up tomorrow and I'll have a word and try and get the arches cut away. They test fitted the wheels and there was good clearance, even when they 'bounced on the car' but I'd prefer for them to be cut away for safety!
