NOS Posted July 31, 2010 Share Posted July 31, 2010 I have a car alarm on my TT that has stopped "beeping" when turned on and off. When I press the central locking button on my keyring the central locking is still working but it no longer makes the ''beep'' sound when pressed. It used to beep twice when being locked and once when opened. Why is this? (The make of the Alarm is LASERLINE 433.92 MHz 12V) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Scooter Posted July 31, 2010 Share Posted July 31, 2010 .............this might work "Ive a laserline, if you mean it doesn't beep when you lock or unlock it you can turn them back on by unlocking the car with the remote, get in and close the door, turn on the ignition then open the door again press the button to arm the alarm and the alarm light will flash once if you've got it right and you will have arming tones again. I had a toad alarm that I had fitted from new, Anyways I rang them up and a guy came out to me reset the system and it all worked fine after that. Not sure that will help you at all.
