Guest MICKEYDOO81
ok ok ok things just get more complicated already the N/A i bought is turning out to be or should i say used to be a Turbo............ the track rod end is broken so i have ordered up a new one and they keep telling me the car is registered as a turbo, obviously with me looking at the engine bay its clearly Non turbo, so now i have asked for a non turbo track rod end - which doesn't fit so my mechanic has just told me that this car is in fact a turbo after all at 1 stage in its life................ any other ways of identifying this? Quite confused by this, any chance you could post a picture of the engine bay? We should be able to tell you if it is a non turbo or if any work is being carried out to maybe convert it to a turbo. Guest MICKEYDOO81
Do the chassis numbers differ if it's a N/A or TT? i.e: JZA80000...
marc_p
Do the chassis numbers differ if it's a N/A or TT? i.e: JZA80000... I can't remember if the engine code is on the chassis plate, but if it is, non-turbo is 2JZ-GE and the TT is 2JZ-GTE
neo2810
Yup, should be listed on the chassis plate...
