guye_d
I own a 98 vvt-i single T61 supra. The Spec looks something like this: Percision T61 Fluidine Rad Blitz 4" FMIC Sard 650cc Injectors Aeromotive FPR Meth/Water Injection E-manage Ultimate Zeitronix Wideband DVD ICE Greddy Shift Knob Sparco Steering Wheel Guage Panel to replace Passenger airbags TEIN Super Street Coilovers TRD Sway Bars Cusco sway Bars Blitz NUR Spec Wings West Front Lip 18" Staggered wheels Slotted Rotors + HAWK Pads HID kits - dim + full beam N e ways .... I think you get the picture ... It has a significant amount of Mods Now ... Before I did most of these mods ... the car got hit by a drunken fool on the right front and suffered some structural damage. I had the car repaired, all with new parts; however now I am beginning to see some stress cracks on the frame, also there are various things from the repair that I do not like to see and hence I would like to get it changed. So ... here's my difficulty, I am not gonna get someone to give me the money I want due to damage from the accident and therefore I am considering a few options: - Purchasing and N/A manual and swapping in all my goodies. How difficult is this? I would like to get a clean TT and just swap the necessary, but with a local 140% import duty, buying another TT is not a move I really want to make financially. - Just letting go of the car and cutting my losses - Put up with it and shut up Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Guys
Rob_Mitchell
buy a na and swop the goodies is a good option if your handy with a spanner mate, cant you just re-shell the car??
Nic
Why not just get it repaired properly with new Toyota parts?
guye_d
That's the thing guys, its actually the frame and not replaceable parts that have the unsightly damage. An example would be the area where the fender bolts above the wheel well.
