Don't underestimate the kinetic energy contained in a car even at 'slow' speeds :)

 

That is without brakes being applied and no resistance from going side on though.

 

The deceleration from going side on at 30mph with the brakes applied is relatively quick (i've done it :innocent: ).

 

No way this was 30mph.

that crash is a good 40-50m away from the round about. I went round the corner last night and its not bad at all.

 

Also that article in the paper, all the comments are about the adjacent road not the one he crashed on. Pointless!

 

I don't understand why someone who was clearly speeding and driving like a loon was let off for smashing his car to bits and demolishing someones private wall!

 

Guess he is not a member otherwise he would have piped up by now. Must be the tan interior, I don't think you are allowed to be a member if you have one of them :p
