jackso11
I am not sure where to put this, my girlfriend came home with this photo taken by her friend in south woodford. I hope whoever was driving was ok. Anyone know who it was? It was yesterday.
kill1308
Ouch, that looks nasty.... hope whoever owns that is ok.
Scott
That looks nasty, the passenger side impact looks quite large. Hopefully just a perspective thing. Looks like the car has taken a lot of the damage but left the cabin looking fairly solid (other than the aformentioned passenger side), hopefully no major injuries. On another note, it has taken some speed to cause that damage.

Supralad
bloody hell that is one hell of a crash. Looks like it was the passenger side that hit the wall (or whats left of it). Hope everyone was ok.

jackso11
yes, I have no ide how it has happened. Pasenger side impact, I have drawn a quick paint picture to show the road. The wall that it smashed to bits is on the wrong side for where the car has ended up, I don't see how it hit the wall passenger side first. Oh, and its a 30mph limit 2 blind corners and houses all along the side of the road it hit.....careful driver I see. red bit is the wall
shima60
So they wernt going slow..... Hopefully no one on here. You would suspect more police and things around if they wernt ok so from the pic looks alllll good you would hope

marcAB10
Nasty indeed, hope all are well. Car looks to have had trial rear and blitz sideskirts, can't make out the front bumper. But on stock wheels too, no one recognise it?

jackso11
you reckon it span before hitting the wall? coming from the left of my little diagram? that comes from a round about so they must have been tanking it round there

AndrewOW
Hope the guy is alright, but doing more than 30mph in a 30mph zone and in a tight bendy road could easily lead to a nasty accident IMO. RIP Supra

I go round that corner all the time, never thought of it as a dangerous corner. Every blind bend is dangerous if you are an idiot style driver I guess. Scott
Pretty sure it is black. I think the tint from the camera/phone is throwing you off.

Scott
The impact of the wall would have done that for them.
jackso11
There are lots of quotes from pensioners in that article. There is no way that bend is a dangerous one if you drive normally, no need for speed bumps or a camera. If he was horsing it round the corner and then suddenly there was a speedbump he would have ended up in axactly the same situation. With a rear wheel drive car and bad road condidtions if he came round and saw a camera he probably would have ended up hitting the wall too.
