Guest SupraDoper
I'll buy the 6 spd vvti ecu off you if your not going to use it..
Wez
A Syvecs would happily control the VVTi and DBW, there are some VVTis already running them with success

Nic
Are you asking between the 6spd 2JZ-GTE VVTi ECU and the Auto 2JZ-GE ECU which one to use? If you are then the 6spd 2JZ-GTE VVTi ECU, the NA ECU would not work. Edited August 6, 2010 by Nic (see edit history)
Wez
Ahh I misunderstood your intentions. EDIT: your question isnt very clear, do you currently have an AUTO NA and are planning to swap to TT VVTi with a W58? If so you will need a VVTi NA ECU and loom or an aftermarket ECU Edited August 5, 2010 by Wez (see edit history)

EDIT: your question isnt very clear, do you currently have an AUTO NA and are planning to swap to TT VVTi with a W58? If so you will need a VVTi NA ECU and loom or an aftermarket ECU well ive just done a na(5speed) to TT conversion and and just used the TT loom and auto tt ECU. im sure a vvti n/a ecu wont work with a twin-turbo vvti? If you are then the 6spd 2JZ-GTE VVTi ECU, the NA ECU would not work. what i mean is that i have an n/a with automatic gearbox. now im installing a VVti twinturbo engine which has a 6 speed tt ecu and also installing a 5 speed manual gearbox, the W58. so in that case i guess the vvti tt 6speed ecu will be the one to use? Gaz6002
Have you fitted a VVTi TT engine with a W58 box? I think Wez is right, you need a Syvecs.

Wez
It should do yes, although its an untested combo.

Guest osman
should work fine, have seen an auto ecu run 2jz with a 6 speed box same principle applies, better in fact as you have the manual ecu if it doesn work i have the plug n play syvecs for sale
