Dragonlady
Hi, Has anyone got a veilside kit fitted to their supra and kept the standard suspension - if so does it look ok? We are having problems with the supra that we have just bought as it doesn't like speed humps (of which there are plenty in our home town). We want to raise the suspension but are unsure as to what the car has been currently lowered by as it came in from Japan lowered and with no details. We are debating whether we should go back to fitting toyota springs and thereby setting the ride height back to standard. Any advice would be welcomed. Nick
I had my suspension changed (ChrisW's shocks and springs) before the kit was fitted and it had the classic 'nose up' stance a lot of J-Specs have. I didn't really like the way the car sat, and I think with a kit it would look really odd. Change the suspension for something a little less dramatic drop wise and you should be fine. I don't have a problem with speed humps, the really nasty ones I can take at an angle. It's ramps that are still a problem but I can live with that.
