Red circles are showing where the black burn marks and vaporized solder points are, sorry for the bad quality.

 

bad components were capacitors(C118 and C113) and IC103.

 

I was going to resolder it with new capacitors until i noticed one of the IC's was bad too. Anyone got a J-spec tt non vvti ECU for sale? :innocent: pref new.

The tops of the capacitors haven't popped, but one of the legs on one of them is melted right off. I'm pretty good with a soldering iron but it's the IC that worries me because I can't read ant numbers off of it to find out what it is and if I can get a replacement one at my local electronics store. At first when I saw the capacitors I was thinking easy fix. All the middle legs on the IC melted together and some of the board.
