Odd brake light problem

Here we go;

 

Had an alternator fail on me so replaced it with one of keron. Its all working fine and cured my problem. Now I have noticed since fitting this my brake lights have failed.

 

Now the fuse is fine, but I replaced it just to be sure. Wow they work, for 5 minutes :(.

 

Take out the fuse and its fine, replace it and they work again :), then they die again, Has anyone had a problem like this.

 

IS there a difference between a pre face lift and face lift alternator.
