dude
Don't really know where to put this thread so thought here is as good as any. One thing that really annoys me is kerbed wheels, it can make the nicest of rims look very tatty. We can now remove most kerb marks and even very minor 'folding' of the lip. Even if the rim is painted/coated we can put a polished rim around the very edge, this not only looks nice (its how I always finished my painted bike rims) but means its a lot more tire change friendly (no chance of chipping paint). Some before pics.
dude
And after:) Price is around £50 per rim.
dude
It is also possible to re polish the whole of the rim part of the wheel to within 1mm of the centre/spokes.
Supra-Brett
How far are you from Reading Dude. My rears have a big polished dish which was spunback and laquerd and the water has gotten underneaith. The centres are fine so the dish just needs polishing again.
dude
Not too far, we are very near Gatwick, as long as we have enough notice you can drop the wheels off in the morning (before 9) and pick up after lunch (2). Thats the problem with re-laquering its never as good as the factory coating, better off just using a decent rim wax!!!!![sAD][/sAD] and a bit of elbow grease now and again. Size of rim doesn't make any difference dude and yes you can leave the car, Crawley is down the road and has a decent town centre or we can drop you at the station and you can shoot into London for a while. Gaz6002
I have those exact Ultralite wheels, but they're corroded (evil white spiders) on the polished part of the wheel. Can you guys do anything about that?
