Hello guys,

I am thinking of buying a Supra tomorrow... it will be a normal N/A version... cannot afford more than £3K at the moment.

What shall I look out for?

These are the spec for a car I am looking to buy :

Toyota Supra 3.0L N/A (Auto) 1995 (91.000 miles)

19inch Mania Vortex R alloy wheels.

UK Spec glass headlight upgrade

Blitz Nur Spec R S/S exhaust

Clifford Concept 650 alarm/immobiliser

Air-con,

Electric folding wing mirrors,

Electric windows

Full aero pack with auto front splitter. (what should I expect from that?)

Super Pro poly bushes fitted to rear arms.

Rolling road print out of power at 268bph

I did not get that car from Norfolk a bit slow communicaton with email and .. being a weekend I wanted to buy a car today.

I have bought a 1995 Automatic with 72,000 miles.

Pictures to follow...

I have a warnign light ... which I am sure you will be able to provide some knowledge to sort out :)

it is a N/A model.

The warning light comes on the same time with the interior light...

looks like a short circuit for sure caused by excessive vibration when the car is driven "hard"

I wouldn't "for sure" anything just yet. Check the error codes first (method posted above) and report the code back. I doubt very much it's a "short circuit" causing the master alarm to light up.

Can you give us more info though. You say it comes on with the interior light? Do you mean when the ignition is off, on, in standby? Does the light go out when you turn to interior light off? Is it on only when your door is open and the interior light on

(that's normal but you should also have the door warning light on as well).

OK there is some confusion here :-S

The light comes on only when I am driving ... either around corners when I go kind of fast ...

Or when I drive about 100mph and the wheel vibration makes the dash board rattle a bit.

Only on those two occasions they light up. and they light only together at once.

Check your brake fluid level and top it up to the absolute max. Most of the time that's the issue if your warning light is flashing on intermittently. Why the interior light is coming on at the same time I dont know...

Once topped up, get someone to pump your brake pedal while you wander around looking for brake fluid dribbling out of your calipers, it's easy to spot. Just to make sure you don't have a cracked, leaky caliper (like I did)...
