TonyP
When the bolts are tight it's great. Doesn't make a sound but within a couple of minutes of driving one of the front ones works loose and the bloody thing starts squeaking. So, is there any reason why I couldn't use this on it? mr lover
I had this problem a while back, I was parking on a different side of the drive and the car I think was slightly twisted. Could it be something like this ?
TonyP
Could be. When I put the roof back on it's nearly always parked on the road, parked facing the traffic, so it's leaning to the right and it's the driver's side that comes loose. I'll take it out tomorrow take the roof off and replace it on flat ground see if that makes a difference. I've taken to driving around with the ratchet in my lap, tighening the bolt every 2 minutes. It's become more annoying than the boot rattle:( Now where did I put those new boot rubbers???

Is that the same stuff we use at work on the connections of the air-compressors?

Will try the tape method as it should do the job
