Can I use nutlock on my aerotop bolts?

When the bolts are tight it's great. Doesn't make a sound but within a couple of minutes of driving one of the front ones works loose and the bloody thing starts squeaking. So, is there any reason why I couldn't use this on it?

Could be. When I put the roof back on it's nearly always parked on the road, parked facing the traffic, so it's leaning to the right and it's the driver's side that comes loose. I'll take it out tomorrow take the roof off and replace it on flat ground see if that makes a difference. I've taken to driving around with the ratchet in my lap, tighening the bolt every 2 minutes. It's become more annoying than the boot rattle:( Now where did I put those new boot rubbers???:search:

I've got the same problem with same bolt??? Perhaps its a manufacturing fault??

Will try the tape method as it should do the job
