Wing mirror glass removal (is it safe to...)

Is there any danger in removing the glass from the wing mirror just to put it in another wing mirror?

 

I mean, is there any clips on the actual glass that could brake? Or is it just the wing mirror itself and nothing to worry about (because I will be getting rid of it)?
