hodge
Hey Guys Ive got my engine loom fitted last night and am about ready to feed it through the bulkhead into the cabin. Does anyone have any pointers or hints and tips to get it through as its a pretty tight space to get all the pligs through. Thanks john
Terminator
I had my loom mine in and out of the bulk head several times, I wrap wire round each plug with enough of a lead to get hold of the wire standing out side the car. One arm over the door hinge to gently pull, the other in the bay to feed and push the plugs through one by one. Not easy but it works. Chris Wilson
Someone outside pushing and someone inside pulling and directing. Easy job. Edited July 24, 2010 by Chris Wilson (see edit history)
Terminator
Oh the luxury of an assistant. Done it single handed several times.
Jake
Yeah it's pretty easy. Once you've got all the plugs through the hole just keep wiggling the loom about and feeding it through until there's enough visible on the inside to get your mitts on. A little patience is all it needs, nothing to worry about.
